We are back! The site’s been down a little while but we are happy to announce that we’re up and running again. Pictures from The Office wrap party are up in the gallery now. It may take us a few days to catch up on everything though, so hang tight. We hope you enjoy.

The Thank You Book but is looking AWESOME, but it’s 300+ pages are lacking a little colour. As such I’d like to ask for some last minute help!

If anyone out there would be interested in submitting some edits (old or new, doesn’t matter!) for inclusion in the book, please send them my way!

Rules:

• Must be at least 500 pixels on one end (we don’t want your lovely images looking pixelated in the book).
• Must be your own original work.
• Must be a still photo, no gifs.
• Please submit your work no later than 10pm EST Saturday evening (sorry for the late notice, but our deadline is Sunday!)
• Must be related to The Office (US version).
• Submission does not guarantee inclusion in the book, as this depends on space, but I’ll try my best!

To submit:

• As we’re so tight on time I’m going to as that you submit via email (plus this is the best way to get full sized images).
• Please email your artwork to submit@theofficethankyouproject.com by 10pm EST Saturday evening (January 19th).
• In your email please also indicate how you’d like to be credited (first name, full name, username) with the photo.

The Thank You Book is coming along nicely!

We have over 500 names, and close to 300 Thank You’s. It’s going to be awesome!

Reminder that the deadline to submit a Thank You is December 1st for inclusion in the book. The book will be hand delivered to the set of The Office in early 2013! A couple of the cast members have also let us know that they’re aware of the project and have been checking out the submissions on the site!

Why Donate?

In May 2013, during the week of The Office series finale (Date TBD), we will be publishing an advertisement in The Hollywood Reporter to thank cast and crew of NBC’s The Office for their nine years of dedication to this phenomenal television series.

The “Thank You” will be on behalf of The Office fans from around the world.

The Affiliates have joined together for this project, and are looking for the support of fans everywhere to make it happen. We are aiming to raise $4590 to place a full page ad in the publication. The Hollywood Reporter has been gracious enough to give us a significant discount, with the actual ad space being worth much more than this.

If we are not able to raise the appropriate funds, or should we raise any excess funds, the collected or exceeded amount will be donated to the Make A Wish Foundation, a charity that The Office cast has supported for several years. Thank you to Jenna Fischer for providing us with this charity suggestion.

That means that there is only one month left to submit! We received 170 submissions in the month of October, and would love to see that many (if not more!) in November!

Due to new information from the production staff at The Office, it looks like the series will be wrapping up at the end of January/ early February. This means that our plans for The Thank You Book will need to be altered a little bit.

We have changed the submission deadline from December 31st to December 1st.

This will give us enough time to get the get the book assembled, printed, and sent off, if necessary.

So, be sure to get your submissions in before December! We apologize for changing things up, but we want to make sure we have enough time to make the book look as awesome as possible!
